Counseling

Children with cancer and their families need support to build confidence and resilience in the face of one of life's greatest challenges.

The Jacob’s Heart Counseling Program provides therapy, coaching and case management to guide and support families as they navigate a pediatric cancer diagnosis, no matter the outcome.

Therapy, Coaching and Case Management

The Counseling Program provides a complete assessment of a family’s needs and provides assistance in locating resources to meet those needs.

How it works

Our team of psychologists will schedule home, office or virtual visits for the entire family.

Bereavement Support

Families who’ve lost a beloved child to a life threatening illness face a unique and all-encompassing sorrow. Jacob’s Heart is always here as families ride the waves of grief.

How it works

Our Bereaved Parent Support Group meets on a quarterly basis. The Forever Siblings program focuses on supporting brothers and sisters with mentorship, quarterly art activities and connection to peers.

“Counseling our families is such a unique and rewarding opportunity. I feel honored to be able to support them on their journey.”
