parents need support in maintaining their relationship with each other,
as well as with other family members and benefit from discussing their
experiences, concerns and questions with parents of other critically ill
children;
children with cancer and their siblings need support that aims to
normalize as much as possible their experiences and their feelings around
them; they need to know that their feelings matter;
men need a place where they can express their grief, their struggle
to come to terms with the diagnosis and the role strain, and role confusion
they experienced as fathers and partners;
families, overwhelmed with medical terminology, without resources to
personalize the information, are sometimes left isolated during a time of
crisis;
monolingual Spanish speaking families face additional challenges
OUR PROGRAMS are designed to address the emotional, social,
and financial needs of children with cancer and their families. We aim to normalize
as much as possible the children's experience by providing for families' basic
