The Art from the Heart: Celebrating Maddy program is named after a Jacob's
Heart child who loved painting and creative arts. Though Maddy's died nearly
8 years ago, her name and spirit are alive in the Art from the Heart program.
Through Art from the Heart: Celebrating Maddy local children and their families meet monthly to create. This unique program is also providing tickets to arts programs and other enriching activities in honor of the courage and heart of the families.
The Art from the Heart program segment, called Art for Healing provides bilingual
art activities to children and their families to help cope with the stress,
emotional turmoil and pain related to cancer. Art for Healing offers non-verbal
access to their emotions. It stimulates, nurtures and uplifts those involved.
Art for Healing compliments our counseling and support groups.
